something from scratch

March 29th, 2023

As a developer I have always loved the idea of creating something from scratch. And what better way to showcase my skills than by starting my own website? As I began this journey, I quickly realized that there is so much more to creating a website than just writing code.

First, I had to decide on a domain name and website hosting. This was daunting as there are so many options out there, but after some research and comparison, I finally settled on a provider that suited my needs and budget.

Next, I had to choose a content management system (CMS) that would allow me to easily manage and update my website. After considering options such as WordPress and Drupal, I decided to go with a CMS that was more developer-friendly, allowing me to have more control over the code.

Once I had set up the basic framework for my website, I began designing the layout and pages. I realized that it’s important to keep the user in mind when creating a website, making sure the design is clean and user-friendly.

The real challenge came when it was time to create and implement the functionalities of the website. From optimizing for search engines to ensuring compatibility across multiple devices, the list of tasks seemed endless. Yet with each completed task, I felt a sense of accomplishment, knowing that I was creating something that would eventually benefit others.

As I continue to work on my website, I’m realizing that it’s a never-ending process of improvement and updating. I’m excited for the future of my website and the possibilities it holds.

In conclusion, starting a website as a developer is an exciting and challenging endeavor. It requires attention to detail, planning, and a creative mindset. With the right tools and dedication, you can have an AI generate you an entire blog post almost instantly.

Thank you for reading and welcome to my website.
